Campaign Setting
The Golden Raven Crew campaign is set on the continent of Exandria, based on the setting for Critical Role.The Crew has established their headquarters aboard the Golden Raven, an airship they discovered hidden and covered in thick vine in the Foramere Basin.Their tale begins on the 14th of Sydenstar, 789.

Stilben
It all begins in the swamp city of Stilben, on the east coast of Tal'dorei. In a converging of fates, the party that would eventually be known as the Golden Raven Crew, meets in a dingy inn called The Grumpy Cat. The owner, a man named Duncan Kerr, offered the patrons a job that would pay in coin if they could clear out his basement of giant rats. Shayesha, Saana, Ezramos, Alfie, Grim, Goury and Blenny agreed to the terms and made their way downstairs to find themselves trapped and left them food for a group of mimics.After a short battle, they made their way back to an empty inn, owner and patrons gone, save for a single note addressed to Duncan threatening his life if he did not fulfill his duties to the Clasp. In an effort to assist him, an investigation leads them to discover that the Margrave's secretary, Alisson is behind the attacks and the mimics. Convincing Stilben's Waterwatch authorities to accompany them to confront her, they are met with aggression and Alisson, now transformed into a grotesque monster referred to as a Slithering Tracker. Discovering Alisson's motives rooted in jealousy against the Margrave's new spouse, Margrave Wendell Truss assigns the party with a new objective: find and take care of a witch in the Foramere Basin that's been giving him trouble in exchange for high compensation upon their return. The group agreed, brought some horses with their new money, trekking South-Westward, towards the great lake.

When Grim popped out of a tree a few weeks before the adventure began, he had no memory of who he was or how he got there. All he knew was that he looked pretty sick, weird dreams were plaguing him and he had no idea what was going on. Since then not much has changed, but now he remembers his full name, Ashlei Jude Carro, he's saved his family from being sacrificed and has, somehow, found himself returned to the land of the living (of which he was not a part of previously). Anxious (with good reason) and a little wacky (as a character trait), Jude is ready with a healing touch as he yells "Don't die!!" across the battlefield and a conspiracy board full of red string and chalk lines. So, you know. That's neat.

His mother left and disappeared when he was very young, his father later murdered, Alfie was left with nothing and no one and had to learn to scrape by on his own. Considering he's now a nearly impervious werewolf, democratically proclaimed captain of a flying ship, and one of the most handsome men this side of Exandria, I'd say he's doing pretty well, now.

This is Saana Oca-Belavor. Once a fully red skinned tiefling, her magical powers lay stubbornly dormant as she grew older and the redness of her skin subsided to reveal the human tan underneath. Without magic to rely on like the rest of her village, she turned to studying the martial arts and swordsmanship. Very protective of her friends and family, Saana will not hesitate to cut someone down to size who hurt them on her watch. Chaotic but bubbly to a fault, Saana is who you want on the front lines of a battle while also plotting out a prank to play on the rest of them.

What this god he runs to wants from him, or what he wants from this entity is a mystery. But he's here to wreck some havoc and destruction, or just chill out while his friends cause a ruckus.
